Reclaimed wood is old wood that has already seen a life as another product that was torn down, damaged, or discarded. There is a burgeoning market for businesses that recover this type of wood and prepare it to be used again in a new way.

Using reclaimed wood helps create a warm and natural look in any space and it also has the added benefit of being eco-friendly by reusing something that would have otherwise been discarded.

5 Ways to Save on Water Use

Huge amounts of energy are spent every year on piping clean, drinkable water right into ours homes. So what can we do to minimize wasted water, lower our own costs, and reduce environmental impact at the same time?

SERIES 300

1. Check for small leaks from faucets, toilets, or pipes.
Even a small drip from any of these sources can add up to many gallons of wasted water every day.

2. Make sure your pipes are insulated.
This is cheap and easy to do and you will save on the water wasted while you are waiting for it to heat up.

3. Don’t use the toilet as a trash can.
Gallons of water are wasted when the toilet is used to flush just a small bit of trash or facial tissue.

4. Wait until you have a full load before running your dishwasher.
Having a full load of dishes will make the most of the water and soap used by your dishwasher.

5. Install water-saving shower heads and low-flow faucets.
Ultra Faucets has many options available for kitchen and bath faucets that will save on water while still offering great performance. We offer water-efficient faucets that comply with the latest 2015 California green legislation – CalGreen. They have a flow rate of 1.8gpm (for kitchen faucets) and 1.2gpm (for lavatory faucets), versus industry standard ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 of 2.2gpm.
