What This Warranty Covers & Who It Applies To

The limited warranty provided by FORTÉ in this Statement of Limited Dishwasher Warranty applies only to the FORTÉ appliance sold to you (“Dishwasher“), provided that the Dishwasher was purchased:

• For your normal, household (non-commercial) use, and has in fact at all times only been used for normal household purposes.
• New at retail (not a display, "as is", or previously returned model), and not for resale, or commercial use.
• Within the United States or Canada, and has at all times remained within the country of original purchase. The warranties stated herein apply to the original purchaser of the Dishwasher warranted herein and to each succeeding owner of the Dishwasher purchased for ordinary home use during the term of the warranty. Please make sure to return your registration card; while not necessary to effectuate warranty coverage, it is the best way for FORTÉ to notify you in the unlikely event of a safety notice or Dishwasher recall.

How Long The Warranty Lasts

FORTÉ warrants that the Dishwasher is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three hundred sixty-five (365) days from the date of the original purchase. The foregoing timeline begins to run upon the date of the original purchase, and shall not be stalled, tolled, extended, or suspended, for any reason whatsoever. This Dishwasher is also warranted to be free from cosmetic defects in material and workmanship (such as scratches of stainless steel, paint/porcelain blemishes, chip, dents, or other damage to the finish) of the Dishwasher, for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of purchase or closing date for new construction. This cosmetic warranty excludes slight color variations due to inherent differences in painted and porcelain parts, as well as differences caused by kitchen lighting, Dishwasher location, or other similar factors. This cosmetic warranty specifically excludes any display, floor, “As Is”, or “B” stock appliances.

Nothing in this warranty requires damaged or defective parts to be replaced with parts of a different type or design than the original part. All removed parts and components shall become the property of FORTÉ at its sole option. All replaced and/or repaired parts shall assume the identity of the original part for purposes of this warranty and this warranty shall not be extended with respect to such parts. FORTÉ's sole liability and responsibility hereunder is to repair manufacturer defective Dishwasher only, using a FORTÉ-authorized service provider during normal business hours. For safety and property damage concerns, FORTÉ highly recommends that you do not attempt to repair the Dishwasher yourself, or use a non-authorized service provider; FORTÉ will have no responsibility or liability for repairs or work performed by a nonauthorized service provider. Authorized service providers are those persons or companies that have been specially trained on FORTÉ Dishwashers, and who possess, in FORTÉ's opinion, a superior reputation for customer service and technical ability (note that they are independent entities and are not agents, partners, affiliates or representatives of FORTÉ).

Notwithstanding the foregoing, FORTÉ will not incur any liability, or have responsibility, for the Dishwasher if it is located in a remote area (more than 100 miles from an authorized service provider) or is reasonably inaccessible, hazardous, threatening, or treacherous locale, surroundings, or environment; in any such event, if you request, FORTÉ would still pay for labor and parts and ship the parts to the nearest authorized service provider, but you would still be fully liable and responsible for any travel time or other special charges by the service company, assuming they agree to make the service call. Out of Warranty Dishwasher FORTÉ is under no obligation, at law or otherwise, to provide you with any concessions, including repairs, prorates, or Dishwasher replacement, once this warranty has expired.

Order Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you place your order. After that, we double-check if all items ordered are in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your order is available for the delivery within the advertised time frame, we will submit it for shipment to the warehouse. If the expected delivery time exceeds the advertised time frame, we'll reach out to you via email and/or phone to confirm the order.

Order Shipment:

You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number within 1 business day from the time the item has been shipped. If you would not receive tracking information within 10 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with our customer service team.

Estimated Time of Arrival:

We typically deliver within 2-10 business days. Custom made products are usually delivered within 4-12 weeks. If the expected delivery date for your order would fall outside of the advertised 2-10 business day time frame, our customer service team will reach out to you to confirm if you are OK with that date.

Areas Covered:

All estimated delivery dates and shipping costs advertised on the website apply the the contiguous United States only (the Lower 48 and D.C.). Please contact our customer service team to discuss the time and cost of shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or the U.S. territories. We don't ship internationally, but we can ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice.

Damages:

It is critical that you inspect the packaging of all items when they arrive and check if you received all boxes listed on the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage or shortage of packages, you must make a note of it on the bill of lading, take pictures, and refuse delivery. Your note should say "refused due to damage". If there are no damages visible before opening the box, you must note "subject to further inspection may contain concealed damage". By signing a freight delivery without making any notes, you accept the product as it is and release the seller from any liability. If you notice any damage after receiving the delivery, do not throw the box away, and contact us with the photos of all sides of the packaged goods within 2 business days. We cannot process your claim if you fail to send images within 2 business days. After we receive information from you about the refused delivery or concealed damage, we immediately initiate a claim with the shipping company or with the manufacturer. After the claim is fully processed, we ship all replacements at absolutely no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for cancellations or returns after production has started. You can return all non-custom made items within 30 days of delivery, except when noted otherwise on their product page. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging, and the packaging must be in perfect resellable condition. The cost of shipping the product both ways (to the customer, and back to the warehouse) and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Orders delivered outside the United States are not eligible for refunds. If your order arrived damaged, "Damages" section applies. Please contact us before returning your order to discuss shipping details. All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used for your purchase within 2 days after all returned items arrived at the warehouse. If a credit card refund is not possible, we will issue a direct deposit.
