Surface Burner Ignition To light the surface burners, push and turn the appropriate control knob counter clockwise to a “Hi” position. You will hear a clicking noise – the sound of the electric spark igniting the burner. Once burner ignition has been achieved, turn the burner control knob to adjust the flame size. If the knob stays at “Hi”, it will continue to click. NOTE: When one burner is turned to the “Hi” position, all the burners will spark. Do not attempt to disassemble or clean around any burner while another burner is on. Do not touch any burner cap, burner base, or igniter while the igniters are sparking. Heat Settings: Hi Ignites the burners. Simmer Melting small quantities, steaming rice, warming food, melting chocolate or butter. Low Melting large quantities. Low-Medium Low-temperature frying, simmering large quantities, heating milk, cream sauces, gravies. Medium Sautéing and browning, braising, pan-frying, maintaining slow boil on large quantities. Medium – Hi High-temperature frying, pan boiling, maintaining slow boil on large quantities. Hi Boiling liquid quickly, deep frying.

Notes

• The oven-knob displayed temperature is set to match the oven temperature with the convection mode on. When using the oven with the convection feature off, the temperature inside the oven could be between 25 to 50 degrees lower than the knob indicates.
• Due to the high power of the top burners, we do not recommend the use of downdraft ventilation systems. A range hood with at least 450 CFM is advisable.

KUCHT Warranty covers defects in Parts and Labor for functional parts that are the result of normal usage for a period of time of 4 Years for Parts and Labor* from date of purchase. Functional parts are those components parts that are critical to the performance of the product\’s essential function. Nonfunctional parts are those that are not critical like knobs, handles, or cosmetic parts. KUCHT will repair or replace the unit or any parts, therefore, as required, subject to these terms and conditions.

All estimated delivery dates and shipping costs advertised on the website apply the the contiguous United States only (the Lower 48 and D.C.). Please contact our customer service team to discuss the time and cost of shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or the U.S. territories. We don't ship internationally, but we can ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice.

Damages:

It is critical that you inspect the packaging of all items when they arrive and check if you received all boxes listed on the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage or shortage of packages, you must make a note of it on the bill of lading, take pictures, and refuse delivery. Your note should say "refused due to damage". If there are no damages visible before opening the box, you must note "subject to further inspection may contain concealed damage". By signing a freight delivery without making any notes, you accept the product as it is and release the seller from any liability. If you notice any damage after receiving the delivery, do not throw the box away, and contact us with the photos of all sides of the packaged goods within 2 business days. We cannot process your claim if you fail to send images within 2 business days. After we receive information from you about the refused delivery or concealed damage, we immediately initiate a claim with the shipping company or with the manufacturer. After the claim is fully processed, we ship all replacements at absolutely no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for cancellations or returns after production has started. You can return all non-custom made items within 30 days of delivery, except when noted otherwise on their product page. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging, and the packaging must be in perfect resellable condition. The cost of shipping the product both ways (to the customer, and back to the warehouse) and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Orders delivered outside the United States are not eligible for refunds. If your order arrived damaged, "Damages" section applies. Please contact us before returning your order to discuss shipping details. All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used for your purchase within 2 days after all returned items arrived at the warehouse. If a credit card refund is not possible, we will issue a direct deposit.
