Limited Warranty

MC Appliance Corporation warrants each new “Countertop Ice Maker” to be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees to remedy any such defect or to furnish a new part(s) (at the company's option) for any part(s) of the unit that has failed during the warranty period. Parts and labor expenses are covered on this unit for a period of one year after the date of purchase. A copy of the dated sales receipt/invoice is required to receive warranty service, replacement or refund.

In addition, MC Appliance Corporation warrants the compressor (parts only) to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five years. The consumer is responsible for all labor and transportation expenses related to the diagnosis and replacement of the compressor after the initial one-year warranty expires. In the event that the unit requires replacement or refund under the terms of this warranty, the consumer is responsible for all transportation expenses to return the unit to our factory prior to receiving a replacement unit or refund. A refund or replacement will be issued at the discretion of MC Appliance Corporation.

This warranty covers appliances in use within the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The warranty does not cover the following: Damages due to shipping damage or improper installation

• Damages due to misuse or abuse
• Punctures to the evaporator system due to improper defrosting of the unit
• Content losses due to failure of the unit
• Repairs performed by unauthorized service agents
• Service calls that do not involve defects in material and workmanship, such as instruction on proper use of the product or improper installation
• Replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers
• Failure of this product if used for purposes other than its intended purpose
• Disposal costs of failed units not returned to our factory
• Any delivery or installation costs incurred as the result of a unit that fails to perform as specified
• Expenses for travel and transportation for product service if your appliance is located in a remote area where service by an authorized service technician is not available
• The removal and reinstallation of your appliance if it is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed in accordance with published installation instructions
• Refunds for non-repairable products are limited to the price paid for the unit per the sales receipt
• This warranty is non-transferable. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does not extend to any subsequent owner(s)

LIMITATIONS OF REMEDIES AND EXCLUSIONS

Product repair in accordance with the terms herein, is your sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty. Any and all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby limited to one year or the shortest period allowed by law. MC Appliance Corporation is not liable for incidental or consequential damages and no representative or person is authorized to assume for us any other liability in connection with the sale of this product. Under no circumstances is the consumer permitted to return this unit to the factory without the prior written consent of MC Appliance Corporation.

Some states prohibit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on implied warranties. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Order Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you place your order. After that, we double-check if all items ordered are in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your order is available for the delivery within the advertised time frame, we will submit it for shipment to the warehouse. If the expected delivery time exceeds the advertised time frame, we'll reach out to you via email and/or phone to confirm the order.

Order Shipment:

You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number within 1 business day from the time the item has been shipped. If you would not receive tracking information within 10 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with our customer service team.

Estimated Time of Arrival:

We typically deliver within 2-10 business days. Custom made products are usually delivered within 4-12 weeks. If the expected delivery date for your order would fall outside of the advertised 2-10 business day time frame, our customer service team will reach out to you to confirm if you are OK with that date.

Areas Covered:

All estimated delivery dates and shipping costs advertised on the website apply the the contiguous United States only (the Lower 48 and D.C.). Please contact our customer service team to discuss the time and cost of shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or the U.S. territories. We don't ship internationally, but we can ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice.

Damages:

It is critical that you inspect the packaging of all items when they arrive and check if you received all boxes listed on the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage or shortage of packages, you must make a note of it on the bill of lading, take pictures, and refuse delivery. Your note should say "refused due to damage". If there are no damages visible before opening the box, you must note "subject to further inspection may contain concealed damage". By signing a freight delivery without making any notes, you accept the product as it is and release the seller from any liability. If you notice any damage after receiving the delivery, do not throw the box away, and contact us with the photos of all sides of the packaged goods within 2 business days. We cannot process your claim if you fail to send images within 2 business days. After we receive information from you about the refused delivery or concealed damage, we immediately initiate a claim with the shipping company or with the manufacturer. After the claim is fully processed, we ship all replacements at absolutely no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for cancellations or returns after production has started. You can return all non-custom made items within 30 days of delivery, except when noted otherwise on their product page. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging, and the packaging must be in perfect resellable condition. The cost of shipping the product both ways (to the customer, and back to the warehouse) and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Orders delivered outside the United States are not eligible for refunds. If your order arrived damaged, "Damages" section applies. Please contact us before returning your order to discuss shipping details. All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used for your purchase within 2 days after all returned items arrived at the warehouse. If a credit card refund is not possible, we will issue a direct deposit.
