The lower refrigerator compartment is designed to operate between 2 and 8ºC. The digital thermostat is located inside. We include an alarm\/thermometer that users can easily install to monitor the refrigerator temperature. The thermometer displays the current and high\/low temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree in a readout switchable from Celsius to Fahrenheit. The temperature probe is encased in a glycol-filled bottle to help simulate the temperature of stored materials, rather than the refrigerator air temperature.
