Customer Service and Communication could use some help

The item we ordered was exactly what was needed and worked perfectly. My issue was with the communication and customer service. The shipment was delayed due to the item in stock being damaged - good for them not shipping it out but I only found out by emailing them to follow up on the order. Then they found the shroud in another warehouse and sent an email that there would be an additional freight charge, which they offered to split. At that point we were quite desparate to get the part that I paid the additional and nominal fee. It did not ship until a few days after paying the additional fee. This would be a 5-star review if the communication and customer service were better.
