Warranty

Your OVEN has been inspected and tested and is warranted subject to following for a period to 12 months from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and materials. During this period, we undertake to repair or replace any defective part which was originally defective in our opinion. This warranty is null and void if the appliance is used for commercial purposes.

More About Warranty

FORTÉ Appliances will not pay for:

Service calls to correct the installation of your OVEN, to instruct you how to use your OVEN, to replace house fuses or correct house wiring or plumbing, to replace light bulbs, or replacement water filters other than as noted above.
Repairs when your OVEN is used in other than normal, single-family household use.
Pickup and delivery. Your OVEN is designed to be repaired in the home.
Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, improper installation, acts of God, or use of products not approved by FORTÉ Appliances.
Any food loss due to product failure.
Repairs to parts or systems resulting from unauthorized modifications made to the appliance.
Replacement parts or repair labor costs for units operated outside the United States or Canada.
Travel or transportation expenses for customers who reside in remote areas.

The warranty does NOT apply for:

Damages due to chipping, peeling of coating and denting.
Breakage or damage to components made of Bakelite, plastic materials, rubber parts and cord.
Normal wear and tear of parts; Normal Product Maintenance and Cleaning
Damage resulting from accident, mishandling or negligence on the part of the customer. Liability for consequential loss or damage is neither accepted nor implied.
General rebuilding or refurbishing that is not a legitimate warranty repair. Failures caused by:
Unauthorized service.
Grease or other material buildup due to improper.
Cleaning or maintenance.
Accidental or intentional damage.
Connection to an improper gas or power supply.
Use of improper pans, containers, or accessories that cause damage to the product.

This warranty is valid only when:

This appliance has not been opened or tampered with by any unauthorized person.
The appliance is brought to and taken from the retailer at the customer’s cost and risk.
The warranty card and Cash Memo duly signed by the authorized retailer are present with the complaint.
The appliance has been installed, used and maintained in accordance with the instruction manual.

Warranty is void if:

Serial plate is defaced.
Product is altered by user
Product is not installed or used according to manufacturer's instructions.

Shipping & Returns

Order Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you place your order. After that, we double-check if all items ordered are in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your order is available for the delivery within the advertised time frame, we will submit it for shipment to the warehouse. If the expected delivery time exceeds the advertised time frame, we'll reach out to you via email and/or phone to confirm the order.

Order Shipment:

You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number within 1 business day from the time the item has been shipped. If you would not receive tracking information within 10 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with our customer service team.

Estimated Time of Arrival:

We typically deliver within 2-10 business days. Custom made products are usually delivered within 4-12 weeks. If the expected delivery date for your order would fall outside of the advertised 2-10 business day time frame, our customer service team will reach out to you to confirm if you are OK with that date.

Areas Covered:

All estimated delivery dates and shipping costs advertised on the website apply the the contiguous United States only (the Lower 48 and D.C.). Please contact our customer service team to discuss the time and cost of shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or the U.S. territories. We don't ship internationally, but we can ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice.

Damages:

It is critical that you inspect the packaging of all items when they arrive and check if you received all boxes listed on the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage or shortage of packages, you must make a note of it on the bill of lading, take pictures, and refuse delivery. Your note should say "refused due to damage". If there are no damages visible before opening the box, you must note "subject to further inspection may contain concealed damage". By signing a freight delivery without making any notes, you accept the product as it is and release the seller from any liability. If you notice any damage after receiving the delivery, do not throw the box away, and contact us with the photos of all sides of the packaged goods within 2 business days. We cannot process your claim if you fail to send images within 2 business days. After we receive information from you about the refused delivery or concealed damage, we immediately initiate a claim with the shipping company or with the manufacturer. After the claim is fully processed, we ship all replacements at absolutely no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for cancellations or returns after production has started. You can return all non-custom made items within 30 days of delivery, except when noted otherwise on their product page. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging, and the packaging must be in perfect resellable condition. The cost of shipping the product both ways (to the customer, and back to the warehouse) and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Orders delivered outside the United States are not eligible for refunds. If your order arrived damaged, "Damages" section applies. Please contact us before returning your order to discuss shipping details. All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used for your purchase within 2 days after all returned items arrived at the warehouse. If a credit card refund is not possible, we will issue a direct deposit.
