Servicing your appliance may require the use of the onboard data port for diagnostics. This gives a Forté Appliances factory service technician the ability to quickly diagnose any issues with your appliance and helps Forté Appliances improve its products by providing information on your appliance. If you do not want your appliance data to be sent to Forté Appliances, please advice your technician not to submit the data at the time of service.

Your Range Hood has been inspected and tested and is warranted subject to following for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and materials. During this period, we undertake to repair or replace any defective part which was originally defective in our opinion. This warranty is null and void if the appliance is used for commercial purposes.

What Forté Appliances will not cover:

Service trips to your home to teach you how to use the product.
Improper Installation, delivery, or maintenance.
Failure of the product if it is abused, misused, modified, or used for other than the intended purpose or used commercially.
Replacement of house fuses or resetting of circuit breakers.
Damage to the product caused by accident, fire, floods, or acts of God.
Damage to finish such as surface rust, tarnish, or small blemishes not reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Incidental or consequential damage caused by possible defects with this appliance.
Damage caused after delivery.
Product not accessible to provide required service.
Service to repair or replace light bulbs, except for LED lamps.

Exclusion of Implied Warranties

Your sole and exclusive remedy is product repair as provided in this Limited Warranty. Any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to two years or the shortest period allowed by law.

This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and any succeeding owner for products purchased for home use within the USA. If the product is located in an area where service by a Forté Appliances Authorized Servicer is not available, you may be responsible for a trip charge or you may be required to bring the product to an Authorized Forté Appliances Service location for service. In Alaska, the warranty excludes the cost of shipping or service calls to your home.Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. To know what your legal rights are, consult your local or state consumer affairs office or your state’s Attorney General.

Shipping & Returns

Order Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you place your order. After that, we double-check if all items ordered are in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your order is available for the delivery within the advertised time frame, we will submit it for shipment to the warehouse. If the expected delivery time exceeds the advertised time frame, we'll reach out to you via email and/or phone to confirm the order.

Order Shipment:

You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number within 1 business day from the time the item has been shipped. If you would not receive tracking information within 10 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with our customer service team.

Estimated Time of Arrival:

We typically deliver within 2-10 business days. Custom made products are usually delivered within 4-12 weeks. If the expected delivery date for your order would fall outside of the advertised 2-10 business day time frame, our customer service team will reach out to you to confirm if you are OK with that date.

Areas Covered:

All estimated delivery dates and shipping costs advertised on the website apply the the contiguous United States only (the Lower 48 and D.C.). Please contact our customer service team to discuss the time and cost of shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or the U.S. territories. We don't ship internationally, but we can ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice.

Damages:

It is critical that you inspect the packaging of all items when they arrive and check if you received all boxes listed on the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage or shortage of packages, you must make a note of it on the bill of lading, take pictures, and refuse delivery. Your note should say "refused due to damage". If there are no damages visible before opening the box, you must note "subject to further inspection may contain concealed damage". By signing a freight delivery without making any notes, you accept the product as it is and release the seller from any liability. If you notice any damage after receiving the delivery, do not throw the box away, and contact us with the photos of all sides of the packaged goods within 2 business days. We cannot process your claim if you fail to send images within 2 business days. After we receive information from you about the refused delivery or concealed damage, we immediately initiate a claim with the shipping company or with the manufacturer. After the claim is fully processed, we ship all replacements at absolutely no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for cancellations or returns after production has started. You can return all non-custom made items within 30 days of delivery, except when noted otherwise on their product page. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging, and the packaging must be in perfect resellable condition. The cost of shipping the product both ways (to the customer, and back to the warehouse) and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Orders delivered outside the United States are not eligible for refunds. If your order arrived damaged, "Damages" section applies. Please contact us before returning your order to discuss shipping details. All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used for your purchase within 2 days after all returned items arrived at the warehouse. If a credit card refund is not possible, we will issue a direct deposit.
