KOBE Range Hoods has upgraded its RAX21 series ducted under cabinet range hood to have better sustainability with features and reduced packaging. A thin hood body that is designed and suitable for taller cabinets where the motor can insert into. Beautifully and professionally handcrafted with 18-gauge commercial grade stainless steel with satin finish. Its energy efficient 600 CFM internal blower removes most moisture, odors, and smoke effectively. The range hood is also equipped with 3-speed rocker switch, LED lights and baffle filters. Available in 30”, 36” and 42”. Available as under cabinet or wall mount style with optional duct cover.

One-Year Limited Labor Warranty on Kobe Brillia Series

For one year from the date of your original invoice from a KOBE authorized dealer, we will repair any parts or components free of charge that failed due to manufacturing defects. KOBE reserves the right to replace, rather than repair the product free of charge at our sole discretion.

It is your sole responsibility to ensure the product is readily accessible for the service technician to perform repairs. The service technician will not, under any circumstance, remove, alter or modify any fixture built around and/or connected to the product to gain access to perform repairs.

Two-Year Limited Parts Warranty on Kobe Brillia Series

For two years from the date of your original invoice from a KOBE authorized dealer, we will provide non-consumable replacement parts or components free of charge that failed due to manufacturing defects. Consumable parts such as lights bulbs, filters, fuses, and oil cups are not covered by this warranty.

What is covered:

This warranty is valid in the United States and Canada. It is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and does not extend to subsequent owner of this product. In Hawaii, Alaska and Canada, this warranty is limited. There may be additional shipping charges for parts and service technician travel costs in remote areas or locations 30 miles outside of KOBE authorized service area.

What is not covered:

  1. Normal wear and tear, regular service and maintenance required for the product.
  2. Consumable parts such as light bulbs, filters, fuses, and oil cups.
  3. Chips, scratches or dents due to abuse or misuse of the product, use of corrosive and abrasive cleaning products.
  4. Damages caused by accident, fire, flood and other Acts of God.
  5. Services in remote areas or locations 30 miles outside of KOBE authorized service area.
  6. Labor cost incurred in connection with the removal of range hood, and reinstallation of replacement range hood, nor does it cover any other contingent expenses.
  7. Scratches inside the hood, back of the baffle filter, and inside the duct cover.

This warranty will be voided when:

  1. Improper installation and failure to follow installation instructions.
  2. Any repair, alteration, modification not authorized by KOBE.
  3. Duct alteration, modification and connection.
  4. Incorrect electric current, voltage or wiring.
  5. Improper usage of the product such as commercially, outdoor or other usage other than its intended purpose which is residential indoor usage only.
  6. Product is purchased from an unauthorized KOBE dealer.
  7. Product is damaged due to negligence, misuse, abuse, accident.

If we determine that the warranty exclusions listed above applies or if you fail to provide all necessary documentation for warranty service, you will be responsible for all expenses associated with the requested service, including parts, labor, shipping, travelling, and any other expense related to the service request.

Can KOBE hood be used outside of the United States or Canada?
Yes, but please change the power voltage and plug for the range hood to be suitable at your region. However, warranty does not apply.
Is KOBE hood certified?
KOBE range hoods is CSA (U.S.A & Canada) and ETL (U.S.A & Canada) approved.
Does KOBE hood range hood include a damper?
Yes, most of KOBE range hoods come with a damper installed.
Can I vent my hood through the side of the house, instead of through the ceiling?
Yes, but please make sure that the ductwork attached to your KOBE range hood is at least 12 inch high before the 90º elbow turn to the wall.
What is the maximum length that I can vent my range hood?
The maximum length will be 50 feet (depending on model and installation).
Why can't the KOBE range hood be more than the required height from the cooking surface?
The required distance is the optimal distance between the hood and the cooking surface. KOBE range hood is powerful enough so it can be installed at a minimum of 26" for under cabinet and wall mount, and 30" for island hood. Any higher than the required height the effectiveness of the range hood will be reduced.
How far does the hood have to be above the cooking surface?
The recommended distance from the bottom of the range hood to the cooking surface is 26"~30" for under the cabinet and wall mount style hoods, 30"~36" for island hoods and 30"~36" for Dual Blower (1200 CFM) hood (accept Built-In hoods).

What type of blower system KOBE uses?
KOBE uses 2 types of blower systems to maximize CFM and filtration while minimizing noise and power consumption. The types of blower systems used are Twin Vertical Turbine Impeller and Single Horizontal Squirrel Cage.
What is Parametric Panel?
A parametric panel increases static air pressure by limiting airflow space. Panel may be opened or removed to access the filters for cleaning purposes. Parametric panel apply to KOBE Brillia CHX30 Series only.
What is Multi-Style hood?
Multi-Style hood can be installed as an under cabinet or a stand alone wall mount. This versatile feature gives the freedom to install the range hood in any kind of kitchen setting without limitation. (Duct cover is included in wall mount hood only).
What is ECO mode?
ECO Mode promotes a cleaner kitchen air quality without the work of manually turning the range hood on or off. KOBE’s Eco Mode features an automatic mechanism that runs the range hood on QuietMode™ setting for 10 minutes every hour to remove excess moisture, microscopic particles and odor.
What is QuietMode™ mode?
QuietMode™ feature allows the range hood to operate on the lowest CFM at a reduced sound level of 40 Decibels (1 Sone). Allowing the user to effectively vent the kitchen without the noise a typical range hood generates.
What is the difference between Premium(-1) and Deluxe(-5)?
The difference between Premium and Deluxe models lies in the CFM (cubic feet per minute). Premium models have higher CFM due to a more powerful blower while Deluxe models have lower CFM. Premium models also come with a 2 Year Parts & Labor warranty while Deluxe models come with a 2 Year Parts & 1 Year Labor warranty.
What is the difference between Premium/Deluxe and Brillia?
